Up from the ashes...
For a long time...we were silent.
Night fell and the cold winds of days gone by whistled thru the empty alleys of the empire. Our citizens moved to different places or scrounged for bits here and there. The Coliseums stood empty, abandoned. Shadows filled with the ghosts of combatants.
Dawn breaks today. The sun comes once again. Water flows into the aquaducts, and we are reborn. The sounds of hammers and tools begin to fill the air, and the slow rebuilding begins. The city rises again. The empire is rebuilding.
